Camp-andaigua is a camp opportunity offered through a partnership between The Autism Center at Ontario ARC and the Town of Canandaigua. Each session is held at Onanda Park in Canandaigua, New York, and will focus on teaching life skills in a fun and dynamic atmosphere.
Elements of the camp include: water and boating safety skills, learning about living in a lake community, fishing, canoeing, hiking, community projects, and more.
The skills and experiences offered through the Camp-andaigua partnership will be important in both personal and professional development and will provide a valuable community focus.

Eligibility & Requirements

To attend the Summer Day Camp through The Autism Center at Ontario ARC, campers must have an intellectual or other developmental disability, including autism, and be between the ages of 14 and 20.
OPWDD/Hourly Waiver Respite enrollment is required. Camp is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware that there is a minimum number of registrants required for this camp. If the minimum number is not fulfilled, the session will not take place.

Transportation

Transportation is provided on a first-come, first- served basis to/from Victor (91 Maple Avenue, Victor, NY 14564).
